Getting Started
Monday, September 28, 2020 — Ack! I’m so behind on getting UCAP out. The number one thing on today’s list is to finish and post UCAP1011. It’s so close, just gotta focus and get it done.
Making some satisfying progress on my iPhone/iPad software development. My first real app, the “proof of concept”-“complete all the steps of developing and getting a simple app in the store” project, is very nearly done. It’s been in “testing” with three friends for a couple weeks. And now I need to complete the final punch list, put together the App Store materials, and submit it. Soon I hope.
As I finish up this first app I’m doing a lot of learning on Apple’s SpriteKit technologies. It’s starting to make some sense, and I feel like this might be the foundation for my first still-really-simple-but-people-might-find-it-fun app. More on this in a while. I’ll be looking for people to help me with the testing/review process.
Just to dress this thing up a bit, here’s a recent pic from my phone’s photo roll.
It’s a highly digital zoomed pic I took in downtown Dover NH the other day, during my afternoon walk. That odd, orangey colored, circle is the setting sun, “dimmed” by the deep haze.
That’s it for now. Talk to you next time.
